Yeah, it think the style alone draws me towards this game. I did play the original but i never quite “got it”. But being able to have your own blob that transforms by eating jellybeans is the backbone of any little boy’s dream. Definately worth picking up to play with my kids or myself.

I’ve been trying to get my wife into gaming lately, and so far her interests have been limited to Spikey’s Bounce Around and Crash Nitro Kart 3D on the iPhone and Mario Kart on GameCube and Wii. I remember absolutely adoring the original Boy and his Blob on the NES, and if this one is even close to the quality I remember, I’m certain my wife will be running through some Wii remote batteries soon.

Yeah, the game has a lovable appeal, that only the coldest of hearts wouldn’t enjoy. In a world with ultra violent games/movies, it’s nice to know you can sit down with your kids and both enjoy your gaming experience.
