New Redesigned Xbox 360 Console Released

Our resident in charge Deftangel posted a while back that there would be NO new Xbox 360 Slim in 2010. Well, the egg is on the other shoe now. A new Xbox 360 is hitting shelves this week, and for the same price as that of the $300 Elite. It will feature the fastest WiFi available through Wireless-N and sports a large 250 GB hard drive. Considering that the current $300 model has no WiFi and requires a $100 peripheral and only has a 120 GB hard drive, that’s an amazing deal. Not to mention that this Xbox is just so shiny…*Image credit EL33TONLINE*

@Craigaleg: I think that at this point, with the newer Xbox 360s having a much lower fail rate, Microsoft has learned there lesson and made each new Xbox 360 with proper heat-sinks and design. I know that my Elite model that I got for Christmas is working great with practically no noise whatsoever. I would imagine that Microsoft knows the Xbox 360 technology requirements inside and out by now. But you're right- you never know.

It's funny how E3 went from showcasing new consoles to showcasing improved consoles. Damn sexy looking, but I would love to know if it has just the same likelihood to red ring
