Spinter Cell: Conviction shunted to April to avoid Q1 frenzy

It shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone (especially following Capcom’s decision to move three of their releases to later in the year) that the musical chairs for the big releases who didn’t want to play with Modern Warfare 2 continues In a quarterly press release, Ubisoft have confirmed that Spinter Cell: Conviction is now expected to release in April 2010.

No reason was given in the press release for the move but given the game has been delayed once already but yet has an age rating in the UK, our money is on the move being strategic.

Also in the text was a similar delay for forthcoming real-time strategy game R.U.S.E.
