We’ve got a couple of high-profile releases this week. Mass Effect 3 is going to sell like crazy and the people will decide whether Street Fighter X Tekken is broken or not.

From what we’ve seen, SFXT looks to be pretty well balanced, even with the new gem system thrown in the mix. Early reviews are confirming this as the majority opinion. Of course, it’s only a matter of time before someone discovers an overpowered tactic/play-style. But it usually gets nerfed to some extent. If I had the money, I would definitely pay to try it out.

Guess I should say something about Mass Effect 3… well, you’ll probably like it. I skipped the first Mass Effect and tried ME2 sometime after it came out. I can see why people like it, but it’s just not my kind of game. It certainly didn’t help that I was still gaming in SD back then, so I couldn’t read a damn thing. Perhaps if I could, I would’ve at least been able to finish it.

A lot of people are looking forward to I Am Alive. Only time will tell if all the hype is rightfully warranted, or if we’re all just jerking off. Was that too vulgar? Oh well. It’s a good analogy nevertheless.

Mario Party 9… lol

Well, that about wraps up all I have to say for now. Gotta hit the hay. Oh, and I didn’t bother to label each game’s platform because I don’t see the point- most the releases this week are platform-obvious. Mario Party 9 is obviously for the Wii, Mass Effect 3 is obviously multi-platform, yada yada yada. You guys are smart. I’m not going to waste my time and insult your intelligence simultaneously- they are separate activities and should be treated as such. ;)

UPDATE – Ridge Racer: Unbounded has been delayed “to pack the disc with features that will truly make the game sing.” Namco Bandai said they’ll give a new release date along with pre-order incentives and full list of features to be included in the game.
