Daniel Craig
Next James Bond adventure titled ‘Solo’

Although 2012’s Skyfall was the only James Bond film not based upon a novel, it had phenomenal success both critically and at the box office. That hasn’t changed plans for a new writer to continue the book series based on Ian Fleming’s original spy thrillers.

Writer Author William Boyd has been tasked with writing the next James Bond adventure, and he has an interesting take on the road agent 007 will be heading down.

In my novel, events conspire to make Bond go off on a self-appointed mission of his own, unannounced and without any authorization — and he’s fully prepared to take the consequences of his audacity. – Boyd

There’s still no word whether the new bond film will star Daniel Craig or not, but we do know it’s not slated for release until 2016. They’ve already played the “I’m old and this job is hard” plot for Skyfall, so I’m inclined to believe they’ll want a younger Bond. They’ve setup everything else for a new person: new Q, new M, and Moneypenny. Why not a new 007?
