John Locke and Benjamin Linus
Terry O’Quinn talks LOST Season 7, sorta…

John Locke and Benjamin Linus LOST Season 7 might never happen, but to fans of the show, or even just a casual television enthusiast, seven seasons is a little long in the tooth for your average TV drama. Producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse would agree with that sentiment. Actor on Emmy winning series LOST Terry O’Quinn however feels that he needs a little more time with one of his co-stars, Michael Emerson. Famed for playing the show’s characters John Locke and Benjamin Linus respectively, conceptually it’s an interesting move. According to TV Guide, O’Quinn has been pitching a proposal for a spin-off series that would feature him and Emerson as two suburban hit men with ‘family issues’. For any avid LOST fan, that doesn’t even sound to far-fetched for the original show given the ‘flash sideways’ that have become prevalent in the show’s sixth season.

The real irony being that the show’s star adversaries are actually real life friends makes the project all the more interesting. “I really hope this works out because Michael would be in his prime in this,” O’Quinn said. “We’d play kind of awkward partners.”

Co-star to be and wing-man Michael Emerson seems interested in the project, saying “It’s very sweet of him. I’m all in favor of it. Any reason to work with Terry again.” If anything does come out of this, let’s just hope that it makes sense for the first season at least. RIP LOST Season 7. Live together die alone.
